This includes posting open job positions to social media sites, actively searching these sites for potential candidates and even researching a candidate’s social network profiles to learn more about them.
There is no denying the use of social media sites has exploded with more people spending more of their time on these sites. So if you are a recruiter and you want find and connect with potential candidates, it makes sense to go where they already are.
Social recruiting is no longer a fringe activity only performed by leading edge recruiters. If you are not leveraging social media in your recruiting efforts, just know, your competitors probably are.
